"It was a nice resort on the water that was adjacent to a golf course. Beautiful scenery and up the hill across the street was a shopping center. That included a grocery store, gift shop, pharmacy, restaurants and a movie theater. Just to name a few. "

"The staff is excellent. There is renovation going on in one of the towers but no one was staying there. The rooms are spacious and clean. The restaurant and bar menu was good but a bit pricey for someone used to Midwest prices. The open air restaurant, bar and lobby were interesting for me, coming from a region that’s gets fours seasons. I was told the temps are pretty steady at this facility. Don’t worry, the hotel rooms have walls and a spacious balcony. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Royal Kona Resort."

"Sandy beach, ocean view, and shopping access was awesome! Luau was great! Billfish restaurant had amazing food. Hotel breakfast buffet was ok, food was not hot. Wouldn’t do buffet again. ABC store was convenient and had everything we needed. Overall we were very happy with our stay and will stay again. "
