"We had a really nice stay. We had to leave a day early due to car troubles but check in was easy. The only issue we came across was not getting our check in information and address early enough to know where we was going. Other than that we would stay again!"

"We did not stay but to submit I had to answer all questions that did not apply!! I was told there was flooding from the dishwasher and they had no other accommodations for me! I was fortunate a hotel in the area was available for us 4 but at a higher rate and two hotel rooms verses a place our adult kids could hang out and relax with us. I was told I’d be refunded. The fee was near $300. I will be contacting my credit card company to get my money back!! Very disappointed!!"

"This property was not my favorite. First there was overgrown grass in both the front and back yard which looked neglected. I also noticed a mattress propped against the fence in the yard, along with a big pile of pottery chips or whatever that was. It wasn’t a good look for the Ballwin area. I expected more. I also felt it was false advertisement because the details of the property described it as being a lower level but it was actually a basement, which I didn’t like. Why would I want to spend as much money as I did just to go to someone’s basement? I could have stayed home in my own basement! This was my biggest issue. No wonder we didn’t have access to a stove. And the shower was almost impossible because the space for one person was like a phone booth, which made it difficult to turn and have elbow room. The owner didn’t leave us the Wi-Fi password, which meant we had to call again. Another wait. In addition, it was sometimes very dry air or hot but we had no way of controlling the temperature in the basement. The thermometer must have only been located upstairs in the house. We had issues getting into the key padlock, which we eventually figured out but the owner was very slow in responding. At least be available for questions the first 30-minutes to an hour. Once we got inside we kept seeing spiders and/or other small critters. This may be typical for a basement but along with all the other issues, I wasn’t happy. I would not recommend or stay at this property again!"

"layout of unit was fine, however it was not clean, walls had visible handprints, looked like nose pickings on the walls in bedroom, film on hand rail and other services, and a very strong musty smell like water had been left sitting on floors. Although they did revacuum stairs, ( visible dust bunnies against walls and dirt where wall and carpet met, I had to spend over an hour wiping down walls, surfaces , counters etc as my 2 year old grand- daughter came for dinner one night, Honestly for the amount of money would not stay there again, The hotel staff ( and note this was billed as a VRBO not as an extended stay hotel on ad). was nice and came back in, I should not have to ask to have the unit recleaned. I felt the ad was misleading, as it was not clear this was an extended stay hotel,"
