Quiet and Comfy (Zip Tye Ranch)

  • Come relax in a quite country setting, Only 5 miles off I-5 Exit 108. Your set off the main road and plenty of room for the kids to stretch their legs. Kitchen is fully stocked so you are able to cook right here. Has a covered front with swing and back porch so you can enjoy the farm life or the Majestic Evergreens of Oregon. Each guest we be welcomed with the special at local bakery. Only 20 min to Roseburg, Eugene 90 miles away. Easy day drive to the Coast. Minutes away from all the Wineries. The house is fully cleaned with bleach to make sure each guest feels comfortable. Four legged family are welcome with approval. Any special request? Just ask! Family reunion? Wedding? Birthday party? Lots of room outside!

Peaceful Countryside

We very much enjoyed our stay here. It was quiet and peaceful at the end of our long days in Roseburg. The hostess is lovely and very communicative. I would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful Country Experience

Peaceful and quiet. Enjoyed all the wildlife that came and visited. 7 deer one evening and 12 turkeys often. Gorgeous stay.

Cute country house

Nice quiet stay in Myrtle Creek in the country. Beautiful forest view. Large yard which was great for our two large dogs. So nice that they allow dogs if you get permission ahead of time.

Myrtle Creek

We enjoyed the space and allowing the kids and dog to have space to run outside. The property owner was available for all questions.

Peaceful and quiet

Nice quaint little country home just outside of town. It was the perfect location for us. Owner is super friendly, responsive and there for any needs that may arise. We all loved sitting on the front porch in the early morning drinking coffee. And I especially loved our evening visitors (the owners dogs).

This is a great place to stay. If country living is what you like this is a great place. It is not the Hilton. It is set back off the road and surrounded by tree's. Its an older home ( which I love). Also enjoyed the owners dogs who would come up at night and visit. They were all very friendly. I would recommend this place any day to a hotel/motel

Beautiful rural mountain stay

This place was great. A nice mountain retreat, a bit away from town. It was cozy and quiet and a full small home. It had a full kitchen, a/c and great wifi. I would stay here again Even of you live in the area and just want to get away into the mountains a bit, its great. It's about 3 and a half miles from town. There is no cell service though, so be prepared. I loved it!

Clean and Short Trip from town!

Very clean property, comfortable beds, and well stocked with fresh linens/towels/etc. Owners were get with effortless check in, wifi directions, and checking with us in through the app. Downsides were very minor but include no doors on the bedrooms just a curtain, bathroom sink kept backing up, and the sliding door blinds and lock didnt work well.

Cute little place

We had a wonderful time celebrating my husband’s 70th birthday. The accommodations were nice, there were adequate supplies and kitchen equipment. We only had two bath towels for four people, but there was a washer and dryer. It could stand a thorough cleaning, but that is the only suggestion I have. Enjoyed the surrounding area and the fun games supplied! Thank for a very nice stay!

Wonderful quiet retreat!

This was the perfect spot for my needs on this “get await” trip. This place has amazing potential! My creative side want to make it a “French Country” atmosphere. Brenda, the owner was fantastic. She welcomed me warmly and explained where everything was, to make our stay enjoyable. There was a fire pit just outside the back door. The kitchen was stocked with all of the essentials, as was the bathroom. It was peaceful and quiet and was exactly what I needed. Thank you Brenda!

Clean and comfortable

First, communication with host was excellent and she was incredibly helpful. This rental is sumple and clean and workedwell for our needs. We arrived to find a loaf of delicious banana bread from a local bakery that absolutely saved us for breakfasts. The space is simple and clean. As we were there for my uncle's funeral, it helped to be able to sit outside on the porch swing morning and evening, just enjoying the scenery and quiet. What really made it special are the 2 dogs who would visit us. We are major dog people and they were good for our soul. (Tip the bakery makes dog treats and they were good boys).

Never Again

The check in was sketchy at best. The unit was hot, dusty, & dirty. Window coverings were minimal and damaged. Locks were not adequate for comfort level of safety. Rust and peeling back paneling. This manufactured home is outdated and rundown. I packed up and made my two hour trek home at 9 pm the first night as there was no change I would have gotten any sleep in this run down old property.

We pulled up and were very excited. Vacation with my daughter and 2 grand kids. Walked up stairs and dissapointment started. The spiderwebs were weeks deep on steps, portch and swing. Entered unit and overwhelming urin smell. Probably from dogs? Air conditioner was not big enough...front room was still hot..we were sweating. Only other fan did not blow any air at all and was caked with grime. Bathtub had patckes of i guess paint? Pictured treehouse look very unsafe. Furniture was stained (hopefully just water?)...bedding was dirty. We could not stay. Left after an hour. Although the host communitadted great before the stay...she ghosted me after.

Country Comfort

My son and I enjoyed our stay. It was much more comfortable than expected. Being located on a working farm and having a tree house out back, it was an ideal spot for a family with kids. I would recommend it and would not hesitate returning.

I wanted to like it but not impressed

I have to say, after reading the reviews and choosing this property, I feel duped. I grew up in the country and I am the least snobby person you will ever meet, but this place was old and not in a quaint way. Lots of cobwebs, dirt in the corners and not what I would really call "clean" as described in the ad. The sheets were clean and I've slept on worse mattresses, but my boyfriend swore he could smell mouse urine as we were laying there. It kinda reminded us both of being at outdoor school. Bare bones and not kept up well. The couch was a little scary. Very worn and dirty. We ended up leaving Saturday morning instead of through Sunday morning as we had paid for, and luckily were able to get a hotel room for Saturday night. I will say Brenda was pleasant over email and her friend Angel who came over Saturday morning was nice but I would not stay here again.

Quiet relaxing farm

We enjoyed the relaxing setting of this home. The few cows and chickens we heard in the morning added to the homey feel. We will definitely book here again if we are back in the area.

Come and get recharged.

Very peaceful setting on a working farm just about 3 miles out of town. We loved our stay, our dogs loved it also. Amazing place for observing wildlife and stargazing. Great location for day trips, close to wineries, we also went to Crater Lake, Mount Ashland, and Bandon at the coast. Upon our arrival Brenda brought us some delicious banana nut bread, from the local bakery named Goodog and we were hooked! Brenda was very helpful and we had an easy check-in & check-out.

An amazing week in the mountains

We drove up from Cali for 7 days and stayed on the farm. We were gone pretty much all day and returned in the evenings to sleep. The house had everything we needed. Brenda was very nice and easy to communicate with regarding check- in. We would stay here again!! We had a wonderful trip!
