This renovated motel was indeed a great stay . The cleanliness of the facility and the room was a plus. Affordable, quiet and a block from the beach. The lady that manage the motel is friendly and helpful . Most definitely will stay there again.

When we drove up, we were a little bit hesitant, but as soon as we opened the door, we were happy to find an incredibly clean, nicely decorated room. It was great having the pool right outside of our door, and walking to the beach took us less than two minutes. The staff was also incredibly kind and gave us helpful information.

The only concern I have is that we kept banging our shins into the wooden bed frame edges; they protrude too far around the corners and edges. The frames appear to be made for king size mattresses. Replacing the mattresses would be the quickest fix. The frames actually skinned my shins enough to bring blood. Ouch! The rooms were clean. Maggie the property manager was very pleasant. The area was nice and quiet.

My wife and daughter stayed a couple years ago and kept raving about how clean and cool the place was, so I went and was disappointed, door looks was a hit and miss, manager gave out our room number to another hotel visitor which tried to get in our room at 3am. I could go on and on but I'll just say I wasn't impressed.

Is it the Ritz? No... But it's a cool little motel that's been renovated and cleaned regularly. We decided on an impromptu trip for the kids spring break, booked it online for $57/night and arrived 10 hours later - pleasantly surprised! We'll definitely stay here again. Maggie at the desk was awesome!
