🛏️The Space:

Our Oceanfront Double Suites come with one bedroom with 2 queen beds, one bathroom and a common area. These units feature a galley style kitchen with flat-top stove, sink, microwave, coffee pot, toaster, basic dishware and cookware and a full-size refrigerator. The living room has a sleeper sofa as well as a double-size murphy wall bed. The suites feature one HDTV in the living room, a second TV in the bedroom, a two person table with chairs and a private oceanfront balcony. These 501 square foot units sleep up to eight people.

NOT AS ADVERTISED-- APPALLING!

Unfortunately, our experience was revolting and unacceptable. Despite the management property's reassurance that the unit would be "clean and comfortable" prior to renting it, we were shocked to find it in a deplorable state. The furniture was stained and dirty, the curtains were tattered, the shower was moldy, and the air conditioning unit was filthy and clogged with dust and debris. (I have photos and documentation of all of this). We spent 3 hours cleaning and disinfecting the property just to make it habitable. The couch and chairs were so unsanitary that we felt compelled to cover them with linens and towels provided by the resort. We spoke with the manager of the resort, who was kind and understanding, but unfortunately, she couldn't do much to help us since we booked through VRBO. The resort itself was also booked, and we had no other choice but to make do. It was a very stressful getaway, especially with young children. We couldn't even allow them to play on the floor or carpet after finding a chunk of glass that hadn't been vacuumed. And, to top it all off, we spotted a German COCKROACH scurrying across the wall on our final night! We have yet to receive any response from "Victoria" (the host), "Brittain" (the management company), nor VRBO regarding our request for a partial refund or compensation for the unpleasant experience we endured. At the very least, we expected the cleaning fee to be removed from our bill. I, unquestionably, advise against this property.
