"20 of us had an absolutely fantastic week at Ino Villa, ages 10-80; the welcome food pack was really appreciated as the flight was a late arrival and we were all hungry; the layout and large rooms worked brilliantly, the pool and outdoor eating area were fantastic and it was amazing to have the volley ball court /table tennis right there; the kids enjoyed the company of the neighbouring cats and it was useful to have the town so near for shops and restaurants/ food delivery; I really recommend the home cooked meal delivery which was delicious and good value from Mrs Soula suggested by Think Villa; we had lots of varied day trips enjoying the different beaches, gorges and shopping in Rethymno; very lucky with hot and sunny weather at 27 degrees mid October a very welcome break from the Scottish weather! Thanks so much for providing such a fantastic holiday location!"

"We had a wonderful stay at Marine Palace, it was easily accessible and we had a 5 month old plus pram in tow, pool selection was great and the food was excellent, lovely choice and highlight was the BBQ by the Sea! Staff were all very helpful and bonus of a WhatsApp number to message if had any problems, the rooms and all outside areas were kept to a very high standard of cleanliness, very impressed. The village of Panormos was only a 7-8 minute walk away, very small but lovely village with bars, restaurants and a few gift shops. Would definitely return!!!"

"Top notch service from the moment you walk in. Everybody, and I mean everybody there provides the best service/friendliness/helpfulness. Whoever does the hiring there does a great job finding such incredible employees. The resort itself is amazing. Clean, beautiful, beautiful views, great pools, good food. I can’t say enough about this place. I guess the one negative (or positive for some people) is that it’s quite a drive to get anywhere. But I guess that’s just Crete being a big island with everything spread out."

"My husband & I and two other couples stayed at Penelope Home for 5 nights. The home is located about halfway between the 2 airports on Crete. (About an hour each direction) We liked the central location and enjoyed hikes, caves, the beach and other activities. The suggestions for restaurants and bakeries by our host were spot on. The host also handled our transfers which was very much appreciated."

"Lovely villa. Bedrooms and bathrooms were great. Wonderful large pool with sunbeds and parasols. Kitchen had everything we needed and there was a large BBQ . Only small suggestion, would have been nice to have more information about where to go for supermarkets (Perama), restaurants (Panormo) and best beaches (worth the drive to the south coast)."

"Check in was wonderful, Vasiliki was very polite and professional. Finding the parking of the hotel was a tricky one. There were 5 spaces near the entrance - all taken when we arrived, so we parked on the street and got a ticket. The room was spacious and beautiful. Being on the ground floor, there is no balcony, instead a lovely space with table and chairs, and sea view. There is no mosquito net, though and the isolation allows you to hear everything in the hallway and the next room. The negative surprise was 2 empty mini bars and the fact that you need to pay for a bottle of water, in an all inclusive hotel. You also nees to go to the reception desk to get a key for the safe and, again, pay for it. The next negative surprise was the lack of amenities. There are no slippers, minimum bathroom amenities, no laundry bag and no bathrobe, not even even places to hang the towels :( I would never expect that a 4 star hotel will not have slippers or bathrobes, that was so disappointing. When I called for an iron and ironing board - the hotel does not provide ironing board and the iron you need to take from the reception desk, personnel can not bring it to the room. They eventually found an ironing board and even managed to deliver everything in the room. Last, hopefully, surprise, after calling to ask for a late check out, we were informed that we can use the room until 16:00 with a surcharge. Perfectly normal, of course, accept when you have informed the personnel th"
