They are also great hosts and will do everything they can to ensure you enjoy your stay. Villamblard is remote but easily accessible by car with many interesting places to visit. The cottages are comfortable and well equipped with everything you need for your self catering stay, with home grown produce available too....

"This charming stone farmhouse in the quiet area of Eglise-Neuve-de-Vergt in the Dordogne is an absolute joy to stay at. It is so much more than just an ordinary gite. Located just off a little lane about a hundred metres away from the local road. It is very well equipped and the rooms are quite large, spacious and comfortable. As the nearest supermarket and restaurants are a fair way off you may need to plan your shopping well, but as it is in such a peaceful spot I believe that staying here is...

"Het huis was geweldig en de eigenaren zeer vriendelijk . Voor ons was dit gedeelte van de Dordogne te vlak. we houden van motorrijden en in dit gedeelte miste we de bergen en ook de mooie wandelroutes. Ook was het te warm om dit alles te ondernemen, misschien hadden we meer ondernomen als het wat kouder was. Maar de vrijheid van de accommodatie was geweldig.
