"Minimal amenities. Room very hot and had a smell. Has AC but does not work. Had to open windows for air circulation but ended up having to close them due to noise around the area (very noisy). Area around is shady and did not feel very safe. The only positive thing i can say is that it is very close to Frankfurt main train station and rental car drop off (Sixt) and this is the main, and maybe the only reason we stayed here."

"Everything was extravagant! This is maybe the nicest hotel I’ve ever stayed at, especially for the price. Perfectly central to walk to a lot but so close to a bus/train stop too. The area felt safe and the staff was overly accommodating."

"I enjoyed our stay here. It wasn't the nicest room of our trip, but it had a certain bit of charm to it. I'd describe it as something closer to a German Gasthaus than a traditional hotel. You won't find a lot of amenities here, but the breakfast more than makes up for that. "

"The room is small and the decor is rather old but it’s clean and the bed is comfortable. Breakfast was good. For the location (near Römer/Dom) it’s good value. Close to U-Bahn and S-Bahn stations, lots of dining and shopping options nearby."

"Breakfast good, staff friendly and helpful Property run down. Pool freezing cold and facilitiesold and uncomfortable, shower in room completely unusable, either freezing or burning with no mixer tap. Scorched my scalp when trying to wash my hair. Shockingly poor for the high price. Badly in need of a refurb. Everything you'd expect from a hotel badly in need of refurbishment. Despite lovely room size and comfortable beds, convenient joined rooms, the amenities so poor, it was a relief to leave and stay elsewhere in lower graded accommodation which proved much more comfortable. Shocked they can charge so much for such dated accommodation. So disappointed. This was supposed to be a treat stay of our trip, but it turned out to be the worst part. Frankfurt a fantastic city and christmas markets excellent. "
