Carolina Shores II, ocean front condominium complex in Garden City Beach, is located just a half mile north of the pier. There are ocean view and ocean front units in the building. #2101 is a first floor 2 bedroom, 1 bath condominium that accommodates 6 with a queen bed, a double bed and a sleeper sofa and has an ocean view from the side balcony. There's an ocean side pool, ground floor elevator and coin-operated laundry to enhance the appeal of this complex. Parking is limited to one permit per unit. Sorry, no smoking or pets allowed.

Carolina Shores II is located 0.5 miles north of the Garden City Pier in Horry County. This four-story complex offers units with either an ocean view or direct ocean front. For your convenience, this complex has an elevator and a coin-operated laundry onsite. From Easter/April 1 to October 31, enjoy swimming in the oceanside outdoor pool. Pack your beach bags and chairs and take a short walk down to the sandy beaches of Garden City and enjoy the sights and sounds of the Atlantic Ocean. Parking is limited to one vehicle per unit. Motorcycles are allowed. Sorry, recreational vehicles, golf carts, trailers, and pets are not permitted.

The floors were dirty, sticky and sandy. There were roaches in the kitchen, bathroom and bedroom. I have never had to leave a negative review before this one. We have rented with vrbo many times. Hopefully our next experiences with other owners will be positive, again.

If it's your last resort

There is not adequate parking for the condos, and when I called the property manager, they were not very helpful. They basically said sorry, you have to find your own parking. Although there is free parking right beside the condos, you cannot park there overnight. I found out the hard way by finding a ticket on my truck the next morning. The condo itself was very old-fashioned in the decor. The bathroom made me feel like I needed to get Clorox and clean it before entering. The only plus side is that it is the location of the property. It was right on the beach. Next time I will walk a little to the beach verses staying at a place like this again. It wasn't worth the money or the hassle of dealing with the parking situation.

Loved Being Right on the Beach

Cozy for sure. Loved that we were right on the beach especially with the fireworks on the 4th going off right by the pool. We also were just a couple blocks from family that came in from NY. 1 bathroom was tough with extra family in the house, but we made due with what we had. The only real issue was the comforter not getting washed and having constant sand in the bed- our bed was not extremely comfortable. All in all it was a great experience- it was my first time to Myrtle Beach.! Oh, parking was horrible. Thankfully we were able to park at my parents rental most times, but that was after getting a ticket the first night. The building parking was full most of the time. Thank You! Great place to stay!

Needs to be updated! Was very disappointed that the pool never got fixed to be used after the hurricane. Was a wonderful week with family.

Week stay

Dated condo. Could make just a few changes to update. Shower noise was horrible pipe shreek Linens were not clean (hair). But location was amazing.

Great spot for family fun on the beach.

We really enjoyed our stay. Awesome view of the beach! So nice to be so close to the beach! The kids enjoyed the pool which is also located Oceanside. This location is just a short walk to the pier where there is an arcade, snack bar, music, karaoke and an amazing view of the Atlantic Ocean. There is so much to enjoy right in Garden City, surfing, kayaking, fishing, crabbing, long walks, paddle boarding, Beach combing, sunning, and great places to eat. Brookgreen Gardens nearby is also a great place to visit. Also, nearby is beautiful Murrells Inlet with lots of places to eat, as well as entertainment, shopping, and adventures such as parasailing, boating, fishing and other Water Sports.
