"always enjoy our time in this hotel whenever we drove to melbourne from sydney twice a year. Staff always very friendly, hotel decor gave the vibe as expected from the name. The bed so comfy and feel like a blast from the past. Definitely recommended as a pit stop with convinience location to shops n resto and highway."

"The room was spotlessly clean and well appointed. Really liked the fully featured kitchenette with cook-top, fridge and microwave oven (something you don't often see in hotel rooms). Nice hot shower. Convenient parking, almost outside our door. Only a couple of minor disappointments; 1). there were no electric blankets on the bed (we didn't want to run the split-system heating all night to keep warm). 2). we had a not very romantic view of the rainwater storage tanks directly outside our window."
