"I live in Mayfield and we lost power for almost 2 days due to a bad storm. The hotel was amazing to us. We had a clean and comfortable room and the employees were so kind! I thought we were going to have to stay a second night but when our electricity came back on, they allowed us to cancel for the second night with no charge and allowed us to check out late. We greatly appreciate everything they did for us!"

"The KY State Resort Parks ROCK! Kenlake Lodge is well maintained, and the rooms spacious and clean. The staff are super friendly and personable. We ate dinner at the restaurant and the view of the lake is beautiful. The food is quality at super reasonable prices! The booze may not be top shelf but you aren’t paying top shelf! The pool is very nice, large, and clean. KY State Resort Park have a certain charm of simpler times. Not just the furniture, but the quality and hospitality…And, the prices! The park grounds are well-maintained. Disclaimer - I am NOT a state employee! I just appreciate a basic good time on a low budget while not sacrificing space, hospitality, or cleanliness."

"My stay here wasn't bad, but the hallway and room I was in had a terrible smell, so much to the point that I went to Walmart and bought a tart warmer to use while I was there. I assume that was a temporary problem. Other than that it was a great place to stay. The staff was helpful and even let me check in an hour early when I arrived in town earlier than expected. I was in Murray to help my daughter move and there was a lot available at this hotel where I could park the uhaul truck. I'd probably stay here again."

"We had a relaxing ladies trip for a 4 day weekend, and couldn’t have been happier!!!! Communication was great, everything was very clean, fully stocked, more items than most kitchens, great rooms, great sitting spaces for laughs and the beautiful lake view, and we were even able to get a little later checkout. We will definitely be back!!"

"The House was as advertised. I had a very peaceful stay on the lake watching the wildlife. The location is quiet and remote but you aren’t that far from Aurora or Murray if you need supplies."
