"Very nice place near the end of a Mountain Road. The sound of the creek is lovely. My only suggestion would be a little weatherproofing on the back door. Even when the door was shut and locked, you could see a lot of daylight and cold air was streaming in."

"I was familiar with this motel...50 years ago! I was going back to NC for my 50th class reunion. New owners and a definite remodeling made this the perfect place to stay! Although I never met the owners face-to-face, it was a great pleasure to work with them. They accommodated my late arrival, (got to love delayed flights), had a tasty basket of breakfast treats for the morning and were overall just fantastic. I was only there three days and frankly expected to just reuse my towel, and sleep in the messy bed again. But elves must have snuck in and completely cleaned the room, made the bed and replaced my towels. If I hang on for 5 more years, I'll be back for the 55th reunion and stay here again!"

"Nice yard for quick and easy toilet breaks for my dogs. Screened in porch for relaxing and listening to the river flow over the rocks Well stocked kitchen and plenty of blankets for cozying up in the living room Appreciate all the extras including a cabinet of games & puzzles. We used Both a/c @ heat but sunny every day. Foggy most mornings and multiple deer."

"Room was pretty clean and comfortable. The only issue was the water from the sink was cloudy and had a well water odor. The shower had clear water and the water pressure was amazing, still a little well water odor."

"Nice property although one bedroom is a loft. Bathrooms have tub/shower so not good for older people. I’m so glad we were the only ones in our party because there’s barely space for one vehicle and you have to be very careful turning around."
