"Such a lovely place to stay with a courtyard for off-road parking. The Italian owner helpfully spoke good English. He said he also spoke other languages as well. It is right on the edge of the lake and the front rooms have a view over the lake and the back rooms have a delightful view of the mountainside and over look a courtyard with typical Italian buildings. "Charming hotel which has it's quirks but that's all part of the experience with fantastic staff who made us feel very welcome and satisfied. The view was fabulous and the food was terrific and the staff were brilliant. The road up to the hotel is not for the faint hearted (Strada da Valmara) so take their advice on how to reach the property if you are not very confident with mountain roads. "
