"Had a wonderful two night stay at Hotel Flaminia. There is no parking at the hotel but for €20 per day you can park outside the town then be brought to the hotel for free on a golf buggy. We had a superior double room which had a view of the lake but no balcony. The breakfast was good and our room was modern and well equipped but the best feature is the fact that you lounge on the terrace and swim in the lake with the ducks straight off the terrace. The perfect way to cool off after having a wonder around the town. "

"Absolutely fabulous way to enjoy Lake Garda. All the scenery but away from the mass crowds. Beautiful location in a small village square overlooking the lake. Rooms are spacious - we stayed in a vintage room- bed very comfortable and effective air conditioning. High quality towels and bedding. Swimming pool and hot tub area was modern and immaculate- staff very happy to bring drinks and snacks to sun loungers (umbrellas provided). We ate in the restaurant both nights and food was very high quality and reasonably priced. Steaks on the first night and mixed fish grill on the second - large portions. Wait staff friendly and attentive. Breakfast each morning was a feast. To name a few- bacon, ham, cheeses, all types of eggs, breads, sweet pastries, fresh fruit, fresh squeezed orange juice, as well as cartons of about 10 types of other juices. If you left breakfast hungry it was your own fault. The hotel is manned by a small dedicated and hard working team who are friendly and helpful. Nothing is a problem to them. I would definitely stay here again. Private underground parking. Lots to see in surrounding area including Madonna Della Corona- 40 min drive through beautiful scenery. "

"We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Serenella, it is in a lovely quiet location but a short walk away from restaurants, shops etc.The staff are amazing and so helpful, our rooms were lovely and clean as was the pool area. The breakfast was amazing! and set us up nicely for each day. I could go on and on!, I picked the best place to stay and would happily go there again we had a wonderful time. "Location location location. This one ticks the boxes. Just inside the bridge onto the island it is right next to the shops, bars and restaurants and next to the ferry pier. Everything is a very short walk. We had a room with a small balcony overlooking the water and ferry pier. Well appointed and comfortable. The hotel is old and classic historic in some ways and a little tired in others. The only negative was the AC in the room did not cope with an early June heat. We set it to 19 but the room never got below 23 making it difficult to sleep at night. You can’t have the windows open as there are loads of flying insects hanging around. I would stay there again and recommend it to anyone. "
