We were made to feel very welcome, staff were very friendly and to my daughter's delight, the mini bar was included! We had a room with a view of the lake and mountains. It was simply stunning and worth a little extra for that room. We are planning another trip to Switzerland so we can stay at the same hotel."

"Bellevue means “beautiful view,” and sadly that’s the hotel’s only beautiful feature. The location overlooking Lake Lucerne is stunning, but everything else was disappointing. The hotel is dated and in urgent need of refurbishment, as well as improvements in customer service. Arriving just one hour before check-in after a long train journey, we were refused entry and even denied refreshments, being told to go elsewhere. Our room was in the separate Naturhaus building, with no lift or help...

"I had a great stay as a solo traveler. I did a single room and had use of the shared kitchen, which was perfect for my needs. The room was basic but clean and quiet. I really liked the location where I could walk to town and get groceries, and catch the bus to Stoos Ridge, and the bus+train to other locations. It's also a good location for going on morning runs."
