"My husband and I were treated very warmly by the staff at the Makati Shangri-la and appreciated their hospitality and lovely treats prepared in celebration of our wedding anniversary. Our room was extremely comfortable and the design quite beautiful. The afternoon tea was enjoyable as well as the abundant breakfast buffet. We did find the sorbets too sweet, however, and would suggest that the sugar content be lessened. Also, homemade yogurt would be a better and healthier option at breakfast rather than the store-bought yogurts. Nevertheless, we loved our overall experience and plan to return again. "

"The staff and services were excellent specially the receptionist. The place itself is grand but you can tell it is quite old. There was a tiny mold on the bath tub but it was okay, a very small problem. The food on their cafe/restaurant was excellent. Overall, i am pleased and will stay again."
