"Had a wonderful stay in this newly renovated loft. Right in the middle of Eindhoven so walking distance to the attractions and restaurants in the area. 15 minute walk to the train station so easy to get to and from the airport and neighbouring cities. Check in was easy. You get a PIN code for the doors. Two floors up above the Bakkertje Bol. Steps are modernized. Wider than some of the other older buildings but still steep. "This may have been a nice place once, but it's just too old now. Everything is broken or poorly fixed, so I suppose it's no easy to keep clean. Also, there are not enough supplies. Not even enough cups or spoons for 6 guests. The doors don't close or open, the shower is a mess, the stairs to the second floor are dangerous. There is also no information whatsoever. "The host had given us the wrong apartment number so we ended up trying to get into the wrong apartment initially! The tedee app wasn't working for the apartment, so we had to call the host and arrange for a spare key to get in. This all took a long time, in the heatwave with elderly parents and children. Really friendly personnel with clean rooms, decent showers and clean bathrooms, with a great restaurant. "Generally, entire experience was good. I wish the rooms had AC and actual windows, not the shutters. A couple things I did not like: I left the do not disturb sign all days I was there and 2 of the days housekeeping still went in the room. One of those times we were just waking up. Another issue I had was the late night reception guy was not very friendly and seemed bothered by our presence in the bar/restuarant area. One of the nights there was a man at the bar talking to him. This man inserted himself into a conversation that was a misunderstanding between my husband and the attendant. He was rude and it took me great restraint not to tell him off. The restaurant staff was nice during breakfast hours. And the day attendants were also very nice. "
