Everything was great. Awesome staff that was very helpful, very clean, awesome breakfast buffet. The only minor issue is that the shower is a Tub/ Shower combo where the tub is quite deep. So, it can be a bit difficult to get in and out if you have knee issue like I do. Overall, I would highly recommend. Also, very easy access by a 10-minute walk from the S-Bahn stop on the S1 at Lohhof.

Nice breakfast, convenient close to train station. Could perhaps use a paint job and some new carpets, but perfect for easy access to München.

The hotel is conveniently located near an S1 Metro station, this metro will take you downtown and to the airport (and from the airport). being close to the metro is key, because the hotel isn't in Munich, but in the outskirts of the city. The room is spacious, and the bed comfortable. I think one of the best features was the price without a doubt. There is no restaurant, except for breakfast, not late-night bar or entertainment. There was a little bit of noise from the highway close by, which wasn’t a problem because I was tired every night. I recommend it if you are looking for a comfortable stay on a budget.

the gym wasn’t accessible, the person on the phone wasn’t very helpful either (the reception was closed at 3 pm already, even though that’s when check-in begins). the kettle in the room was broken (worked, but the lid fell off). the water kept draining from the bathtub, even though it was plugged. hard to close the bathroom door. other than that, the room was comfortable and clean. the bed was soft and very good to sleep in, the pillows were very comfortable too. the location of the hotel is very good, close to the train stop and not far from the airport

Nice place to stay

The room was at the corner, and had an interesting shape, but there was plenty of room to open my suitcase, and was just fine.

Clean and great value breakfast

Hotel Alarun came to my aid when I was visiting a conference. The fancy hotels were all booked, but Alarun was a great budget option. The area is quiet - almost too quiet in terms of finding food after dark. Rooms were clean and functional. Great buffet breakfast offered great value Only downside was Internet connectivity gave up one night. Otherwise it was a great stay
