"A remarkable property with superlative staff. Location couldn't be better, with stunning views of the water. Every need attended to, thoughtful touches, frequent check-ins with staff. Oberoi's amenities (gym, bath/body soaps, buffet breakfast) are outstanding, truly an escape from the hectic nature of Mumbai. Pool is getting some much-needed upgrades."

"Stay was very comfortable. Since property was fully booked, we could not get our connecting room nor able to enjoy hotel facilities. Room to improve: Food & Beverage services. The restaurant was packed for restaurant and it wasnt easy for both guests and staff members to move around which led to chaos. Location was perfect and safe to stay."

"As a family, we are Taj fans, as a result we have stayed at many Taj properties and have always returned more than happy, the Taj hospitality had at each time lived up to its promise. The brand and what it stands for always redeemed and pleasantly exceeded. However, the Taj Mahal Towers was a severe disappointment. We were initially given a room on the "smoking floor" despite requesting otherwise on the promise that we shall not encounter any foul smells. However, that wasn't the case and on our requiest to be moved to a non-smoking room we were moved, but precious time was lost. That said, it is apprent that the Taj Mahal Towers isn't luxury: the rooms and it's bathrooms small, fit outs, not luxurious but quite ordinary. The corridors very compact, the breakfast restaurant cramped, the lobby very busy. One felt that one was on a public concourse, the guests and the staff felt distant and alien to each other. The entrance porch again very busy and noisy, the valet takes forever to get your car. And while you wait on the landing of the steps no fans to ease the uncomfortable wait from the sweltering Arabian Sea humidity and heat. The TAJ management definitely needs to ponder on how they can make this property exude luxury, calm, and a personal touch. Hope my favorite brand can work its magic."

"The rooms were spotless, the staff was incredibly helpful, and the breakfast spread was amazing. The food overall was delicious, and the location of the property is absolutely wonderful. The only downside for me was the pool — I had mainly booked the hotel for it, but unfortunately couldn’t really use it as it was quite deep. Apart from that, everything else was perfect. Overall, it was a really good stay and definitely worth visiting and staying here."

"This stay felt like a three‑star experience at best when compared to hotels in North America or Southeast Asia. The floors looked like they had not been cleaned in weeks, and the room had an unpleasant smell. There was only one coffee cup in the coffee bar area, no spoons, and we were expected to use a chopstick as a stir stick. Breakfast involved a long wait, and while there were a fair number of options, the quality was mediocre. The entire property looked tired and neglected, and both staff and management seemed disengaged. The situation was summed up by their welcome letter, which had been printed upside down on official letterhead. If this is the standard for a Taj property, then they have lost us as customers permanently. "
