"While the hotel was quite nice and the staff was very friendly and helpful, I found the "pet friendly" part of the description misleading. Some hotels state they are "pet ok with fee's" and you expect a fee at every hotel that allows pets, however I was surprised at the amount. I think all hotels that accept pets should be more specific in their information. The fee here was $40, a bit higher than expected. If pet fees were included with the descriptions they could be compared in the same way you include the room rates, helping to make a decision. Otherwise this was a very nice hotel at a reasonable cost."

"Large spacious room (we had a double queen bed suite) with nice modern updates. It's an older hotel so it has minor wear but has been remodeled tastefully. Nice to have a microwave and refrigerator and small single cup coffee maker in the room! Air conditioning and temp control was perfect. Plenty of hot water and good water pressure in the shower. Beds were very comfortable and had many pillow options on each bed. We didn't see the pool, so can't comment on that. Breakfast was the usual basics (juice, coffee, waffles, biscuits, scrambled eggs, a different meat each day, gravy, cereal, bagels, yogurt and apples), but enough variety for most everyone to find something. I have a dairy allergy, and there were no gluten free or dairy free options available except apples, peanut butter, juice and coffee. Great location with lots of restaurants and store nearby. Our room was very quiet, even with the highway so close. Staff was friendly. We would stay here again!"

"The bed was worn completely out. I usually stay at Comfort Inn because of the quality of the bed. As nice as Fairfield is, they need to have better beds that what they have"
