"A very nice stay here, the staff were very helpful. The hotel is split into two buildings and the signage isn't immediately obvious as to where you need to go. We got lost and ended up back in reception somehow! We did find our room and when we did this was very nice, spacious clean and modern with lots of amenities. They had an onsite gym which again i followed signs to and then they stopped. Had to ask at reception and once explained in the other building and down again, i could find it. Small but modern and well kept equipment with plenty of towels and water. Location is 2 mins from train station and 15 mins from zurich. If you want a cheaper stay in zurich that has frequent trains and isn't far from the center then this hotel is ideal. Overall as i said a very good stay, I would recommend either a little note at check in saying exactly how to get to various parts of the hotel (facilities), but other than that a brilliant stay and would come back for sure."

"Hotel Walhalla is directly across from St. Gallen HB (train station). This makes it incredibly convenient for travel, requiring no taxi or Uber. Local public transportation is in abundance. It is a short walk to Marktplatz for dining and shopping. The St. Gallen Textile Museum, the Cathedral, and the Abbey Bibliothek are easily within walking distance. The staff is friendly and helpful. The beds are comfortable. The showers were delightful. The breakfast buffet offered options from scrambled or hard boiled eggs, three different yogurt options, fresh fruit, breads/rolls, pancakes, cereal, bacon, and fruit juices."
