"Aaah.. maybe my best guest solo traveller experience ever, the host clearly has a matchless sense of welcome. Always caring, but discreetly, she was always here but like a fairy you don’t see. The lodges are incredible! Actually, the whole property is! Excellent breakfast that changes everyday, ok for vegans as well, Suanmoon Cottage is a must do experience. Thank you. You made my Chiang Dao trip smooth and fantastic."

"A wonderful rustic retreat after Chiang Mai. The grounds are a riot of orchids and flowering plants with a plunge pool and stargazing platform, The mountain towers one side and it is super quiet. Our room was clean, comfortable and Malee and Kurt werevery hospitable. Kurt guided us on an amazing (and rigorous) hike. "

"Probably the best option you can find in Fang. We stayed a night to break our trip between Mae Salong and Mae Taeng. Glad we did though as we woke up to an authentic local morning market where we walked for half an hour. An absolute delight. The only thing to note is that all items incur a surcharge, such as extra pillows."
