Great location with private parking

The hotel is located near city center. It is close to eateries. The hotel's hygiene is satisfactory, air conditioning, and hot water are all very good. We have a non-smoking room. They have a private underground parking. Disadvantages: The pillow is too old. It would be better if there is an option to pay a bit more for a refrigerator.

There are better choices nearby

The location is very good as it is walking distance to many eateries in the old town area, as well as express bus station. But the hotel is generally overpriced with its ageing and seeming lac of maintenance, although the room that I stay on 6th floor is relatively bigger. The wifi is not reliable as during my stay for one night, it broken twice. Compared to the Street View Hotel I used to stay during my past trip, Muar 99 is considered a disappointment and not value for money.

An old hotel. The family room gets the afternoon sun and was hot when we checked in. The ac (individual ceiling type) took hours to cool down the room. The bathroom is very small with a sliding door that doesn’t close well.

新しくはないが清潔なホテル

ムアル自体小さな街なので迷うほどホテルもないのですが、ここは値段の割に広くて清潔な部屋だったので安心しました。 シャワーもしっかり熱いお湯が出ます。 窓から橋と川が見えて夜景がとても綺麗だったのが嬉しかったです。 バスロータリーからも近くて便利でした。

The location. I booked for family room for 4 of us with 2 double beds. The room is huge & clean with the amazing view of the centre of Muar town and facing Muar river & straits of Malacca. My room no is 709. The view is like in the middle of the junction. But it is 😊 The staff are all with the smiling face 👍. And the bell boy also help me a lot to carry my stuff. Tyvm. No breakfast served but within walking distance you can find many eateries nearby. All the famous local food nearby. Lobby is small and they also selling the souvenier product of the famous coffee in town 434. Only the downside is the water pressure is low while taking bath.

short trip to muar

great location - literally feet away from the Clock Tower, cheap eateries i.e the night food market at the Bus Terminal. the hotel was kind to obliged my request for a late check-out. room was small but clean and tidy with amenities and a great view of the river and bridge. friendly staff with information about local food joints. will definitely stay here again when in Muar.

Love the serene view of the bridge across the Muar river which is beautifully lit at night. The tv screen in the room is too small with only 4 miserable channels & does not hv even hv the country's news channel !
