"(I posted this same review on the itrip.net website also.)This place is rustic on the outside, in keeping with the general vacation-home vibe of most of the houses in the vicinity. It's clean, modern and well-appointed throughout the inside. We were favorably impressed with the modern kitchen appliances, comfy bedrooms and nice clean modern bathrooms. The house is smack dab in the middle of the Govt. Camp "downtown" area, just a half-block off the main drag. We walked everywhere around town, including to the nearby Ski Bowl attractions. Lots of restaurants within walking distance.Although all the bedrooms are good-sized, the second-floor living/dining space attached to the kitchen is quite small, just a couch, coffee table and breakfast bar. The deck is accessible right through a door in the living space; it's not large either but has a barbeque and a table firepit that kept us warm during the cool nights. If it hadn't been for the deck we'd definitely have felt cramped with sixteen people in the house.We really like this place; we'd definitely stay here again."

"We were very happy with the location, the apartment, and pool/spa. We stayed at this apartment for a week. During this week, we did experience a few issues that made our stay less desirable. #1 The dishwasher in the unit was rusted and smelled like sewage. It was unusable. If you stood next to it while it was closed, you could still smell it.#2 Every time we visited the pool, we were harassed by the onsite person. My niece and nephew were visiting. Each are above the age limit for the hot tub, and we were told EACH time, they couldn't be in the hot tub. The last encounter, the onsite person started changing the age limit and going up to 15, instead of the stated 14 on the sign. It should be noted too, it was the SAME onsite person each time. I would think he would recognize the same family. Each time we were at the pool we were the ONLY family at the pool. Anyone sitting in the hot tub was doing just that, sitting. No horseplay, no wild actions. This behavior was very frustrating and extremely unhospitable. #3 There was a large cockroach in the unit one night. Disturbing.#4 The water pressure in the guest bathroom was very low.#5 The balcony had not been swept when we arrived. The outdoor mat was FULL of sand. #6 The elevator was functional most of the time. However, there is almost no ventilation in the elevator, causing it to get extremely hot in there. Even for the short ride up and down, it got pretty miserable. #7 We encountered a snake by the elevator."

"The header on the listing says “Entire House,” it’s not, it’s a duplex and this is the bottom two floors. We just looked at the header and the number of bedrooms/bathrooms. Had we read the property description, we would have learned it was a duplex.The place was clean, the kitchen was well stocked and beds/pillows were comfortable. The rental company was also quick to answer questions.We had difficulties with parking. It’s off street and first come, first served, so we weren’t able to park in the spots in front of the rental and had to walk a ways. There weren’t any bedside lamps which was inconvenient, and there weren’t many hooks to hang wet ski clothes/towels. It was also a little loud with people above you walking, talking, cooking, etc. When in the second floor living room, you can clearly hear the conversations of the people above you. There are also two outside staircases where people walk right by your windows which feels a little intrusive."

"We stayed here 2 years ago. Love that it use to be a restaurant. Location location location. Great spot. It is definitely rustic but works well for our family obviously since it was our 2nd time staying here. No bells and whistles but functional. Walk to restaurants and short drive to the mountain or a shuttle up the street. "

"Location could not be better. Waliking distance to everything you’d want in Govy. Classic mid 70’s condo down to the orange counter tops in the kitchen. Super comfy. We had such a blast hanging out here in between our adventures. Can’t recommend highly enough!"
