"Superb character property in the interesting town of Gaillac. The maison has been renovated to a very high standard and is super comfortable and relaxing. Its in a tranquil location, but only 100 m fro the town square where a bustling market is held. The host was exceptional, very friendly and nothing too much trouble. "

"Incredible place! “ a treaure in the sky” as the view is unbelievable!. The village of Cordes sur Ciel will transpiort you in another century. You have to drive up and the parkng might be difficult except at the rental where you beneficiate of a pass right by the house . Our appartement “emergence” was so beautiful. "This was the highlight of our trip to the midi-Pyrenees. Set in a tiny village in rolling hills, close to many delightful medieval towns and the amazing city of Albi. (best to locate on google maps on phone - not the TomTom) Isabelle made us very welcome - she emailed me 2 days before to ask what time to expect us, if we wished to have dinner, and any food preferences.. It was very clean and quiet and had a warm swimming pool. Her cooking was outstanding. "

"We'd definitely recommend The Squirrel's Nest. A lovely house and owners. Our room was great, spacious en suite bathroom, air conditioning which with temperatures of 40 degrees outside (canicule), was really appreciated, tea and coffee making facilities on the landing. An easy walk into Gaillac for dinner (bring a torch) and not far from routes to Albi and Toulouse. Breakfast outside in the shade of trees and the company of other guests and our hosts was delightful. Croissants, bread, homemade...

"Pour nous il manquait juste un plus grand frigo celui ci était très très petit et avec la chaleur que nous avons eu un peu dommage pour ce point mais sinon l'hôte à était au top avec nous. On reviendra sûrement"

"We enjoyed our stay and the room was nice. The owner/hostess was very accommodating and was a sweet lady (French speaking only) with her doggie Chopain. Felt like home! Petit Dejuener was included in her backyard by the pool. We stayed in the Fleurs et Oiseaux room. (No TV) Would like to return some day. "
