"Lovely building, room was of a high standard with a good view, staff were all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. Would highly recommend if you are looking for a nice quiet break within an hour of the ferry ports. "

"We had a superb room on the fourth floor - spectacular views and spotlessly clean. It needed a little revamp, though, as there was a hole in a curtain and stains on the carpet, which they had tried to cover with a small mat. There was one mirror, but this was on the back of the door. The bathroom was great, but the towel rail was situated behind and above the toilet and bidet - not the most hygienic position. The breakfast was wonderful and there was an amazing amount on offer, but it was expensive for a person with a small appetite. It’s a delightful place to stay and all the staff seemed friendly, efficient and helpful. "

"we was away for 11 day at different hotels and the cocoon inn was the best place we have every stayed we are already looking to stop there again next year pricing was very fair and staff very friendly and welcoming we was riding motorcycle and parking was behind locked gates and close to room rooms was to a high quality should be a four star "

"House not very welcoming with chairs on table like a closed cafe. Also, bowls and cups had chips and cracks in them and a few not cleaned well. Saying that, host was very responsive and helpful and answered all our questions. Location was great and house was comfortable. You have to pay for parking on all roads but spaces right outside. Lovely area for cycling"
