"The newly renovated Abbey Court rooms are sparkling, lovely and incredibly quiet and peacefull. The one draw back is that there are quite a few small flights of steps all over the place. The dungeon bar has excellent food at reasonable prices. Breakfast is great. I did not try the library bar but the room is beautiful.. The building itself is spectatuclar."

"Great spot in a cool town a short drive from airport. Our landing spot after an overnight flight. Mac was great, bar and food fantastic, this spot did the job getting us on our way to Dingle. Will be a future stop whenever we come over."

"We had a lovely stay at the Maldron Hotel Portlaoise during our trip to Ireland. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and conveniently located, making it a great base for visiting family and exploring the surrounding area.
The staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. Our room was comfortable and well maintained, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was relaxed and inviting. It was a nice place to return to after a busy day of traveling and sightseeing.
