"Unique place- Sort of a Boutique Hotel / Rooming House. Loved my room. Lots of little touches. Just up the hill from town so convenient. There is a Game Room-Kitchen in basement if needed. Bed very comfortable, good wi fi. 19th Cebtruy vibe to building but modern amenities and very clean. Also a small lounge-reading room- Keurig Coffee maker in AM. Care taker (John) is on premises but only talked to him when I left.Super friendly nice guy. Otherwise ke was there in door when I got in and there was no contact with staff.....but he was there if needed. Highly recommend."

"Peaceful. Beautiful views. Fire pits outside over looking a beautiful setting. The staff in the resturaunt absolutely fabulous . Very cozy . The fireplace and seating areas were all great. The only reason I didn’t give all 5s is only because of renovations. I can’t wait to see it when it’s complete. I would definately go back. I also have a great night sleep on the comfy bed."

"If you are looking for a rustic, relaxing, quiet stay to unwind and breath in the crisp, clean mountain air, then you NEED to stay here! The beds are comfy, the cabin is rustic and warm. The front porch looks over the water and when you wake up in the morning and the sun is streaming into the windows, you make a cup of coffee and then stroll out onto the porch to sit and take in all the sounds of the woods around you while gazing out over the view and you sink into your chair and just breath in and realize how beautiful this world is! This is the place to do that! We stayed and visited Lake Placid and then the Wild Center and it was the perfect spot to unwind after. Check-in and out was a breeze and communication was wonderful. Would stay here again for sure! Thank you! :)"
