"When I looked for a decent, quiet place to spend the night on a long trip from Colorado to southern Oregon, I never suspected I would end up in a sprawling, luxuriously appointed home that felt like a palace in the remote country! What a special place this was. It is enormous, allowing so much space between travelers that privacy to luxuriate in the blissful quiet is effortless. The large kitchen provided every implement and necessity I could possibly desire, the beds were very comfortable, the garden bathtub an unheard-of luxury, and the hosts as warm and welcoming as anyone could wish. A friendly alpaca and burro to feed treats to was a fun bonus! I wished we could stay longer, and if I am ever in that part of the country again, that's definitely where I'll stay if I can."
