This property is the perfect jumping off spot to explore Caracol, Rio On Pools, Big Rock Waterfall, Rio Frio Cave, Barton Creek Cave, 1000 Ft Falls, among other natural attractions.

Our exact location is between Blancaneaux Lodge and Gaia Riverlodge, exactly 1 mile from Big Rock Waterfall.

Mahalo House, the largest of the 3 rentals on the property, features one bedroom upstairs with a king bed. On the opposite side of the upstairs bedroom is a loft area with a queen bed and a bunk bed (two twin beds).

Mahalo House has a full kitchen with a stove, oven, full size fridge, Keurig coffee maker, toaster as well as all necessary dishes and cooking supplies.

Hot water available throughout the house.

The house is fully screened in so guests can enjoy the fresh air of the jungle any time of day.

The house also features two sundecks; the large deck has an outdoor fireplace and lounge furniture. The small deck is off the bedroom upstairs where you get a birds-eye view of the property.

Our whole property runs on solar with a back up generator (20kw Generac) so we are never without power.

We provide all linens, towels, salt, pepper, vegetable oil, seasoning salt, dish soap, coffee, tea, sugar, powdered milk, paper towels, tin foil, toilet paper, hand soap, body soap, shampoo and purified drinking water.

For parents of infants and toddlers: the loft portion of the second floor has railings with large gaps that infants and toddlers could fit through (please see pictures).

Kane Villas property has a 24-hour caretaker to allow for easy check-in/check-out, security and to troubleshoot any issues that may arise. He does not intrude on the privacy of guests.

The caretaker house is located at the entrance to the property. You can purchase beer, wine and soft drinks from him. He also rents coolers for $5 usd/day.

Mahalo House is located in Mountain Pine Ridge proper. All visitors that enter the Forest Reserve pass through a secured gate. Our property is located between Blancaneaux Lodge and Gaia Riverlodge. Our guests are always welcome to enjoy the restaurants and bars at both lodges.

We are one of the closest accommodations to Caracol Archaeological Site, which is the largest Mayan ruin in all of Belize. Other adventures in the Mountain Pine Ridge area include Rio Frio Cave, Rio On Pools, 1000 ft Falls, Barton Creek Cave, ziplining, horsebackriding, as well as many other activities. As an added bonus, Big Rock Waterfall is within walking distance from the house (1 mile).
