"Coffee machine provided, but no coffee pods. Iron provided, no ironing board. Only 2 satchels of dishwasher powder. Access to the second bathroom was not allowed, which was inconvenient for visitors. No bathroom accessories such as shampoo, conditioner and body wash was not included. No extra towels and no face washers were included. Apart from that, we really enjoyed our stay. It was just the small details that let the property down. "Wifi did not work and couldnt be fixed. Found out later area is a known blackspot for mobile reception. Very frustrating as we were uncontactable by family. If no wifi/mobile reception available, property rooms needs a lan line for emergencies"

( A retired couple staying in the area to visit family) We've stayed at pretty much every location on the Tweed Coast over the last few years; but this was our first stay at Hastings Point. "The Bower was the perfect little hideaway. Donna was easy to communicate with. Check-in was easy. The Bower had everything we needed and it was spotlessly clean and comfortable. Every detail had been thought of; marshmallows with toasting forks, fire pit, love swing, a seated atea to take in the view. The bed was comfy and the kitchenette was stocked with tea, coffee, milk & snacks. Highly recommend."

"We stayed in this wonderful apartment for a week and highly recommend to anyone planning a trip to the Gold Coast. The apartment is spacious, quiet, and well-appointed, situated in a great location opposite the beach and only a short walk to restaurants and cafes. Steve was a great host and we were very appreciative of the cot and high chair set up in the apartment for our little one on arrival. This apartment will definitely be our first choice for accommodation for any future Gold Coast...

There were a few negatives - . air conditioning in the bedroom end of the unit didn’t work from when we arrived - the manager was advised and got a service person out but wasn’t able to resolve the matter for our stay . the cleanliness of the property was very poor . frypan lid didn’t have a handle (minor thing but I thought you should be advised) "

"Value for money! Greta little one bedroom apartment. Wear and tear is there as it’s not a brand new resort, but it was clean, fresh looking and a really great size. It was a super busy weekend with the Fisher beach concert on yet staff were friendly and relaxed at reception. Highly recommend "

"Wonderful property. We had a panoramic one bedroom apartment (corner) so windows along two walls and a small balcony. Light bright spacious and clean. Southeast so got the morning sun and a partial view of the ocean. Next time I’ll try to get an apartment that faces north so as to get more sunshine. Great position near some lovely cafes and oh so close to the airport. We’ll be back. "
