"Charming hotel on the center square in Mt. Vernon. Beds were very comfortable, room was spotless and quiet, and breakfast was adequate. The water pressure in the shower could have been stronger, but that's my only complaint. Recommend for visitors to Kenyon College, which is 12 minutes away by car."

"We checked in at midnight between our son's soccer games on a road trip. We had considered staying in Deleware but couldn't settle on a place. We drove the few miles out towards I 71. I wanted to be closer to Alum Creek state park which is nice place to spend a couple of hours if you have time The staff was friendly, the rooms were good. "

"The staff are a little uptight, a smile would go a long way, but other than that it was a great stay. A few eating places walking distance and a Walmart being a 5 minute walk was pretty convenient."
