This custom Lake Cavanaugh home with finished walkout basement and loft, is the ultimate retreat for family and friends - and only 90 minutes north of Seattle. We have 10 quilting tables and folding chairs, extra lighting, cutting mats, and other accessories.

Nestled amongst lovely mature trees, with a private dock and boat slip, this spectacular home provides ample space for joint family getaways or large groups. Enjoy the amazing views of Lake Cavanaugh and the beautiful snow capped mountains. The lovely stone fireplace and 8 person hot tub, makes this home the perfect year-round getaway.

The house has 2 bedrooms, a bonus room, a large walkout basement, huge loft & 2 full bathrooms. Our lakehouse sleeps 12 very comfortably. The open kitchen is well stocked with all the necessities from home. It's perfect for entertaining and you'll love the granite island with extra seating, stainless appliances, and Keurig coffee maker. There are plenty of cozy couches and chairs to curl up and read, nap (pack & play provided) play a game or just relax & enjoy the view. The gas fireplace provides warmth and ambiance or you can head out back to the fire pit to roast marshmallows if you prefer. Enjoy your fun in the sun, while setting the DVR to record your favorite shows or login to our Smart TV for a relaxing evening by the fire. We also provide a small selection of books and movies for your entertainment. Relax with a good book and a glass of wine on the floating dock or in the hammock chair - the sunsets are spectacular!

Outside, there are never-ending possibilities for fun. Relax in the private hot tub, take a peaceful paddle in our 2 tandem kayaks provided, or enjoy a variety of other boating activities. The lake is the perfect place to spend summer days, playing with the kids and swimming. Our western exposure provides ample sun all day. Bring your boat and spend the day swimming, water-skiing or tubing. If you like fishing, the season is open year round. The main species are rainbow and cutthroat trout, as well as brook trout, largemouth bass and kokanee.

The surrounding area has quad trails, hiking, and wonderful biking opportunities. The paved road around the lake is about 8 miles around and well traveled by homeowners and guests. Keep a look out for deer, bald eagles and plenty of other wildlife while you're enjoying the splendor of the lake and surrounding area.

For other activities near by, you can enjoy a round of golf at Overlook Golf Course (20 min away) or Eaglemont Golf Course (30 min away in Mount Vernon). There are also 3 major casinos within 30 to 45 minute's drive: Angel of the Winds, Tulalip Casino and Quil Ceda. While you're in town, you can also hit the outlet mall in Tulalip or head north to the Burlington outlet mall.

Take a day trip to the San Juan Islands by catching a ferry at Anacortes, just under an hour's drive. The San Juans by ferryboat is a beautiful way to experience the Puget Sound.

In the spring, the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival is a wonderful event to attend. You can get there easily within 30 to 40 minutes. Don't forget your camera to capture the colorful display. The Kangaroo Farm in Arlington makes a wonderful outing, especially if you have kids who will enjoy feeding and petting various animals.

During fall and winter, cozy up in front of the fire with a puzzle, board game or good book after a bike ride or hike around the lake. The mountains and trees take on a fabulous glow under a dusting of winter snow.
