"While the hotel was clean the carpets on the floors especially 7 was horribly stained! And set a presents that the hotel was not clean . The room layout was good. Breakfast was very nice fresh and clean eating area .. the location was great! Walking to everything was easy and safe at all hours .. hotel is across from the police station with out any noise from it . Just felt safe! Elevators are monitored at night. Washroom was free to wash charge to dry. Stand up shower was a nice change from other hotels! Beds where ok little hard. Definitely ask for the feather pillows!! Free ice cream on floor 9!!"

"I am Soka Gakkai Nichiren Buddhist, a senior citizen and needed a temple lodging with private bath. Kishinobo offers a few rooms with private bath. The only room available during my stay was superior suite for 3 people. This accommodation was beautiful and the meals were the best I experienced in japan this trip. This temple is located a short walk from Nichiren's masoleum. The main hall of Kuonji is a short walk uphill and via a funicular. The ropeway to top of Mt. Minobu is near. It was nice to visit such historic site and to learn more about the Nichiren Shu organization. Namu Myoho Renge Kyo. If you book, please go to Morning Gongyo at 5:30 am, 5 am bell ringing is fun to watch."

"Amazing place, beautiful location in the mountains. The staff were the best part, picking us up from Hinoharu Station when we asked. Loved it here, would highly recommend as someone who can only speak English."

"Very typical Japanese small establishment onsen with a commune bathroom. Definitely need a car to explore what the area has to offer. They serve traditional Japanese breakfast and dinner, you need to book in advance. Very delicious and worth a try. Enjoyed our stay and recommend it. "
