"We had a large group ranging in ages from 6 to early 50s stay for the Memorial Day weekend. We were up for a memorial service and a family reunion over the weekend in nearby Mifflintown. The Lazy 8 was the perfect place to host our group. While we were there, the kids kept themselves entertained by the farm animals in the morning or in the basement in the evenings while the adults enjoyed their morning coffee and evenings catching up on the sun porch taking in the beautiful property. "The house is beautifully updated and has everything you could possibly need. I loved walking the property and my grandkiddos came over and ran around in the yard. Everything was accurate, well thought out and Wendy clearly cares about your comfort while staying with nice extra touches everywhere. Highly recommend!"

"We had a wonderful stay here. We were in town for a swim meet at Bucknell University and thoroughly enjoyed fishing and relaxing by the river in our downtime. One small note is that the listing says that it is 15 mins from Bucknell University and it is no less than 25 minutes from there. It will not stop us from coming back but worth noting if you are making frequent trips that way like we did. An amazing property - we can't wait to stay here again next year when we're in town for the meet!"
