Beautiful 3 bedroom, 2 bath on Shem creek. Updated bathrooms, kitchen, floors, furniture. This home is set up for family vacations with a slant toward outdoors activity. Use the dock with floater to fish, kayak, canoe, paddle board, watch sunsets or hang out in the rear yard to bbq and relax on Adirondack chairs in front of the reclaimed brick fireplace. Tidal creek, so 2ft at low tide and 8ft at high tide. Den, kitchen, dining room, and screened in porch all have views of the marsh, dock and creek. 8.5 foot custom pool table in the loft overlooking the den and kitchen area. Perfect retreat!!

My now husband and I stayed here for the week of our wedding and it was absolutely perfect for us! The ample space both inside and out was great! The upgraded open kitchen and screened in porch with beautiful views of the water was the perfect retreat!It was just like the pictures and description. Location couldn’t have been better- close to everything we needed. The best part was the owner was super helpful and flexible with us. We are already looking at going back!

Great Stay!

The house was very clean and accurately described. Its location was great, in a great neighborhood, and close to many attractions. The only thing I wish it had was portable outdoor furniture so we could move it around to different locations of the yard. We purchased some cheap bag chairs and left them in the garage for future guest use. The owner was very kind and answered all the questions we had very promptly. We would definitely stay again

Great Thanksgiving stay

Spacious and clean house. Excellent location-20 min to most downtown tourist destinations. Property on water allowed for beautiful sunsets and fishing. Host very responsive to communications.

Wonderful time

We had a wonderful time staying at this Vrbo. Plenty of activities on the property to keep everyone occupied. I especially enjoyed doing yoga down by the dock every morning so peaceful.

Great location - perfect vacation rental

We have not been on a family vacation in several years, so we were super excited for this trip. Joe's Mt. Pleasant home did not disappoint, and ended up being the perfect relaxation spot for my family. My dad and fiance love to fish and absolutely loved being right on the water! We were lucky enough to spend NYE here and had an incredible view of multiple different locations setting off fireworks. The property was exactly as described and Joe was super available and had great communication. We would highly recommend this property, close to downtown Charleston, Sullivan's beach, and many fun shops and restaurants in Mt. Pleasant. Highly impressed, we had a great stay!

This was perfect location for visiting Charleston area with our family. Short drive to restaurants, downtown Charleston, and many other tourist attractions. We enjoyed relaxing on dock after sightseeing all day. House was great! Thanks for everything!

Fabulous!

Our family stayed in this home. We picked this location because it was close to Charleston and to the beach. It was fantastic. Such a relaxing and beautiful place to be on the waterway. The outside enclosed deck, the grilling area, the fishing dock…all lovely. It is spacious, clean and very well appointed.

Perfect getaway

We had such a great time! Came down for a baseball tournament at Shipyard and stayed here for a week. Perfect location! Fishing on the dock at night was such a fun experience. So relaxing!

Wedding week

The property was perfect for us. Our daughter got married at Creek Club at ION. 10-15 minutes away depending on traffic. The open floor design allowed for plenty room for bride & bridesmaids to prep for the wedding. The photographer used the dock as back drop for pre ceremony pictures. We could not found a better place & Joe, the owner was very responsive to few questions we had. Highly recommend this property!!

The house was exactly as described. It was even roomier than we thought it would be. It was well equipped and everything was in working order. The view of Shem creek never got old. We really enjoyed the house and will be back.

Wonderful property

We stayed here for 5 days while our son played at the Shipyard. We were very impressed with the responsiveness and kindness of the owner. The property was exactly as advertised and very clean. Not only was the property well maintained, but it was nicely updated. The neighborhood was very cute and all neighbors were very welcoming. The dock and back yard were a very nice plus as our kids had so much fun fishing and playing. I highly recommend this property and will gladly stay here again if we ever come back to the area.

Great location and nice home! Perfect for us.

We meet up with my kids who both live in SC, one was on break and this house was perfect for us. Close to everything (dining, grocery stores, etc..) in MP and an easy ride into Charleston or IOP. Pretty much everything you need for either going out or for staying in and cooking. Smooth and easy check-in and great communication with the owner. We are in the Charleston area 4+ times per year and this place is a great mix of convenience, value and simplicity.

Shem Creek Christmas

Our stay in Mount Pleasant on Shem Creek with our family for Christmas was amazing. We couldn’t of asked for a better home and surroundings to have rented. Joe was very accommodating and helpful to our questions and his home was beautiful as well as the view from his dock on the creek. Thank you for a great experience.

Family Vacation

The property was great. Stocked with everything we needed. All necessary information was communicated well. We came down for a wedding and are so glad we chose to stay a little longer and get this house. Location was convenient. House had room for some of our group to work during the day. Dock was a beautiful peaceful spot to hang out and game room was great for the evenings.

Best of South Carolina

I can't say enough about this property. Our family had an amazing stay. We fished off the dock and caught a 5 pound Redfish and some smaller Sunfish. The kids loved hanging on the dock and playing Cornhole. It is centally located to all kinds of activities. 20/min to Charleston and Isle of Palms. We miss this house and will be back!

Perfect house for a family getaway

Spacious bedrooms. Able to fit multiple bags of luggage. Also have a 1-year-old whose pack-n-play fit well. Open concept in common area allowed us to feel together whether we were in the kitchen, dining area, living room, or rec room. The men made great use out of the pool table each night. Enjoyed the peaceful mornings out on the dock. Perfect location; easy drive to beach and downtown.

Great vacation house

The house was very nice and clean. Very spacious living area with fully equipped kitchen. Can’t beat the location, close to all the restaurants and shops. Charleston was only less than 20mins drive. Loved the view at the dock, watching sunset everyday and seeing all the wildlife. Joe was very helpful with recommendations to all the local attractions and restaurants. The only thing I wish is the checkout can be at 11am. It was a bit rushed trying to get all the towels washed/dried/folded before 10am.

GREAT LOCATION ON SHEM CREEK

The house is located in a nice neighborhood on Shem Creek close to shopping, restaurants, and the bridge to Charleston. The cleaning of the property could be better. The cleaning of towels before you check out at 10 am is a bit much. If you are charging a cleaning fee, why am I cleaning your house? The communication with the owner was always delayed. I asked to check in earlier, if possible, as we were travelling down from Pawleys Island. I requested it on VRBO, by text, and by voicemail. I was never answered. Check-in time of 5 PM is also odd.
