Charming 3br/2ba Shem Creek Oasis!
Welcome to our "Charming 3br/2ba Shem Creek Oasis!", located in a quiet residential neighborhood in one of the most convenient locations in Charleston, only a mile to the lively Shem Creek waterfront area, and less than a 10 minute drive to both Downtown Charleston and Sullivan's Island beaches! Highlights of the home include modern furnishings, a spacious living and dining area, a large furnished outdoor patio, and ample off-street parking. So come stay awhile!

- Living area with sleeper sofa and Smart TV
- Fully stocked kitchen with modern appliances and drip coffee maker
- Laundry area with washer/dryer
- Dining area with seating for six
- Bedroom 1 with king bed, sitting area, and private ensuite bathroom with walk-in shower
- Bedroom 2 with king bed
- Bedroom 3 with queen bed
- Full hallway bathroom with shower/tub combo
- Large, furnished outdoor patio with bench swing, lounge seating, sun loungers, and dining table
- Ample parking out front in large semi-circular driveway
Guests have access to the entire home, the outdoor patio, and the off-street parking in the dedicated driveway
The home is managed locally by Southern Charmed Hospitality Group so someone is always available should any issues or concerns arise during your stay.
At the top of must-see places around Charleston is a quaint area known as Shem Creek. Don’t be fooled by the word creek — Shem Creek is actually a broad, inviting estuary where active shrimpers, fun-loving boaters, and seafood-seeking locals congregate. This charming section of Mount Pleasant draws outdoor enthusiasts to its flanking boardwalks for a mecca of dining and outdoor activity. A favorite place with the locals to wind down.

- Downtown Charleston: Less than a 10 minute drive
- Sullivan’s Island: Less than a 10 minute drive
- Isle of Palms: Less than a 15 minute drive
- Charleston International Airport: 20 minute drive
Guests are only a mile away from Shem Creek but the rest of the Charleston area will be best accessed with your own vehicle as public transportation in Charleston is not a convenient option.
For when you prefer to leave your vehicle parked:
Charleston Water Taxi - Provides transportation between four locations around the harbor. Visit their website to view pickup/drop-off schedule.
MOUNT PLEASANT LOCATIONS:
- Charleston Harbor Resort Marina
- Patriots Point Maritime Center: Use if visiting the USS Yorktown or any of the sites there.
Uber & Lyft - Charleston does have both Uber and Lyft rideshare services. Simply download the respective apps and request a pickup.

THIS IS AN OLDER HOME BUILT IN THE 1950'S THAT STILL HAS TRAITS ASSOCIATED WITH AN OLDER HOME. If comparing prices in Charleston, we feel it is an affordable alternative to hotels and other homes in the area but anyone expecting luxury accommodations in a brand new house should look elsewhere.
INCLEMENT WEATHER
Your safety and comfort are our priority. In the unlikely event of a MANDATORY EVACUATION ORDER FOR CHARLESTON COUNTY during your stay, rest assured that both the Owner/Host and the Property Management Company WILL REFUND 100% OF YOUR PAYMENTS for the dates of evacuation. Once refunded, neither party will have further liability regarding your reservation.
Please note that ONLY MANDATORY EVACUATIONS WILL QUALIFY FOR REFUNDS. No other travel disruptions due to weather, whether in South Carolina or other states, are eligible. For protection, consider travel insurance, especially in high-risk months like hurricane season. Airbnb's insurance or other options are recommended and we urge you to look into them prior to confirming your reservation.
INSECTS
As Charleston is situated in a warm, coastal climate it is possible to see insects inside or outside of the home at times. These include palmetto bugs, sand gnats, mosquitoes, ants, etc. Those who reside in the Lowcountry just accept this as part of living here but it may be unsettling for those from other areas. The home is treated regularly for pest control but this will not entirely eliminate insects from getting inside at times. Please do your best to not keep doors and windows open and not leave food or drinks out in the home as this will attract insects. FINDING AN INSECT IS NOT CAUSE FOR A REFUND.
DAMAGE DEPOSIT
A $500 damage deposit is automatically billed upon arrival. It will be refunded to your card after checkout if there are no claims made for damages.
Any violations of the house rules or posted quiet hours will result in a $250 fine per occurrence
