"The staff was friendly and efficient. We were greeted in a manner that included support if we needed anything not supplied. The room and bathroom were clean and the beds fresh and clean. The pillows were perfect. I do not write this in a superficial tone. We had a stay in another hotel chain recently that was a disaster for our entire party. Lack of cleanliness can quickly and decisively ruin a trip. Thank you, Best Western "

"This clean, quiet, bright hotel is built on a pretty green space, despite being highway-adjacent. But what makes it special is the outstanding customer service: always-friendly check-in, super-easy check-out (which, brilliantly, even asks if you are out of your room once you have officially checked out online), mid-stay checks to make sure everything is ok, all of it. I've been commuting into State College for 15 years, have tried every hotel under the sun after watching them being built when I lived there, and this is by far my favorite."
"If you want to stay out in the countryside but still only minutes from State College, check out the Milk House. We were greeted by a rooster and a few chickens as we arrived. And you can schedule a visit with the baby goats during your stay as well. The property is small but very cozy. A great place to simply rest and recharge. "

"The house and the location was perfect for our daughter’s graduation. The views from every angle was absolutely gorgeous and we were fortunate that the weather was perfect. The house felt like home. It was inviting and so many areas to enjoy the views or watch TV, music or just have a conversation.The kitchen/ dining area was perfect for a family meal. As far as location, we wanted to avoid driving, so we just ubered and it’s only 15 min from campus, which was awesome! We also had the opportunity to enjoy the winery, which made the stay even more memorable.Steve, the host quickly responded to questions, which was appreciated. The bathrooms were well stocked with towels and toiletries that were needed.The only issue was the water pressure in the master bath, but it wasn’t a dealbreaker, we just used the other showers. Otherwise,it was perfect. We would love to come back."
