"We had a wonderful stay at this cabin. We wanted to escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and this place is exactly what we needed. The cabin is surrounded by trees and has a laid back charm. It’s conveniently located to multiple hiking trails. I highly recommend staying here."

"The house was as described, very clean and had everything we needed. The best part is the proximity and easy access to the river below it. As others have described, it is on a fairly busy road but it's a good location and didn't diminish the enjoyment for us."

"Fantastic stay! We were in town to hike Mt Mitchell and this was a perfect location. Just a short drive to trailhead parking area. And the view from the deck, Wow! There’s a reason it’s called million dollar view! So pretty!!"

"This place is a little slice of bliss. Private, clean, comfortable with great amenities! Candie was wonderfully responsive and helpful. We appreciated the teal binder of information and visited a few trails within just a couple of miles. The vistas can’t be beat! Definitely recommend!!! So glad this place weathered Helene."

"With a view from Heaven this home gives you a chance to escape the grind of everyday life. The home is not only very private and well stocked with the items you need to make delicious dinners but close enough to town to eat out. The surrounding area is pure country with neighbors far enough away for privacy yet close enough to say high when you're out for a walk. Would highly recommend!!"
