"This listing on Expedia is deceptive. The property is not at the location on the map, and no one in the town had ever heard of it. I tried to contact the property at least 10 times in the weeks leading up to my reservation via phone, Expedia messages, and WhatsApp in both English and the local language and never received one reply. In the end, I had to just pay for additional lodging somewhere else. I hope I can get a refund, but no luck so far."

"We enjoyed our stay at Jayakarya hotel and suites! They took great care of the property and were constantly cleaning somewhere. Our room was very clean and had excellent air conditioning. The staff was very hospitable and even took the time to call our tour company when they didnt show up on time. The food was excellent, we especially enjoyed the nasi goreng with a little extra sambal. We were able to walk down to the beach, it wasnt a good beach for swimming, but we had a very nice walk and got some excellent sunset photos. If we come back to Flores we would be happy to book a room with Jayakarta!"

"Pickup and transfer from airport to hotel was fast. All staff I've encoutered are truly friendly and smiling. They allowed me to check in at 12:30, without charging extra. With it's own private beach, you can enjoy the sunset right from the pool or restaurant, and we even had a few friendly water buffalo wander past! If you want more hustle and bustle then perhaps stay closer to the port, as there aren't many shops or restaurants nearby, but this was the perfect place for us to recover after our action-packed Komodo Islands cruise. The rooms are simple but very spacious and comfortable. The staff are lovely and accommodating - they even started the breakfast buffet one hour earlier for us as we had an early flight! Food is simple but it's great value for money overall, one of our favourite hotels on our trip!"
