"We weren't expecting stairs as over 70 & I was 78. Couldn't take our case upstairs as too difficult. Quaint comfy little place tho. Loved the history & ambience. Upstairs toilet was noisy, perhaps a blind on the door. Bathroom was small but good shower. Overall we enjoyed our stay & worked around any issues.Had a lovely meal at the historic hotel supported by a very friendly barman. "
