Lake Front House with Dock, Kayaks, and Boat Slip

  • Open concept living with beautiful main channel views includes two (2) primary bedrooms on main level and three (3) additional bedrooms downstairs. Enjoy our fully stocked kitchen and coffee bar. There's plenty of dining space to accommodate your whole group. Large screened porch with outdoor living and dining options. Relax under the covered patio downstairs, life is on lake time. Downstairs space is also great for kids or the young at heart with shuffleboard, foosball table, and an area for games and crafts. Utility room includes washer, dryer and extra storage space.
    Dock provides plenty of space for relaxing, swimming, boating (one boat slip available), fishing, kayaking, and enjoying everything the lake has to offer.
    Gated community with playground, hiking trails, basketball and tennis courts.
    Visit historic Albemarle or Mt Gilead with their restaurants or antique shops, just 10 minutes away. Or explore nearby hiking and mountain biking trails in Uwharrie National Forest and Mount Morrow State Park.

    IMPORTANT: From Oct 23 to Nov 10 Lake Tillery will be down 6 to 8 feet below it's normal levels. Duke Energy controls this process and the duration of the drawdown and the time required to refill the lake will depend on weather conditions and river inflows.

Beautiful view overlooking the lake and mountains. Hard to believe there’s a view like that in the Piedmont region of NC. Short ride to shopping, food, movies. Great experience.

Great location, Great house, Great Owner

We had a great time staying there, it was easy to find. We went went out of his way to make it extra special!! Brand new Grill, made a difference for our after golf dinners!! Would be an excellent place to go back to enjoy the lake!!

Great Lake Stay with Friends

We had a great weekend stay at the lake! We enjoyed the private dock, screened in porch, and spacious living areas. Joel and Jenn were very responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. Would stay again!

Little piece of heaven

Very nice!

The house was perfect for all my family and we loved sitting on the screened in porch looking at the water drinking our coffee.We were able to take our boat and enjoyed the ride to River Wild to eat.We enjoyed every minute.

End of summer trip

Wonderful home for our end of summer trip for our friends and family. Prefect home for ourdoor living and views are simply amazing! Just a little confusion on the "master bathroom" having a shared bath/shower with separate toilets but wasnt a huge deal.. wonderful home and will definitely be staying again.

This home was the PERFECT lakeside retreat we were looking for! The house was well appointed and very clean. Plenty of extras were made available (toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, dishwashing, etc). The kitchen has everything you could possibly need, including a crockpot and waffle iron. Our favorite place was the screened in deck overlooking the lake. We enjoyed our morning coffee there and watched the ducks come and go. So peaceful! The dock has plenty of seating, the kayaks are easy to get to and use and there are plenty of fishing opportunities to be had. Joel and Jenn are very quick to respond to any questions you may have and truly enjoy opening their home to share with others. It's obvious in how they've taken care of their home and stocked it with extras like boardgames and game tables downstairs. We will definitely book again and cannot wait!

Christmas Vacation with the Family

Our family is larger than our home. To allow all the children and grandchildren time to be together, we decided to choose this home as an option. Not more than an hour from our homes, space, amenities, made this trip a wonderful success. Unfortunately it rained each day so we didn't get to enjoy the outdoors but the house was well stocked with everything for many different ages to stay active and entertained during our stay. House was very clean and easy access to the owner, but wasn't needed. The house even had a Christmas tree up for the children to enjoy. Great stacation for us!!

Perfect lake house!

This property was the perfect setting for our multi-generational 50th wedding anniversary celebration. The house is very attractively furnished with a wonderful open kitchen, dining, living area and screened porch area to enjoy eating and spending time together. The hosts have provided every amenity imaginable. There are lots of games for all ages to enjoy and we had no problem filling one rainy day of our weekend with activities. The house has easy access to the beautiful dock and great lake location. Comfortable dock seating provided the perfect viewing place for a magnificent sunset followed by s’mores over the firepit. We really hope our family of 11 can gather there again soon.

Another amazing stay at Lake Tillery

We stayed here this summer for a week and loved the place. It is convenient for our families who live around the state of NC. So, we booked it and went back as a family for Thanksgiving. The space works for our family. We love the open concept of the kitchen, dining area and family room with its views of the lake. The large dining room table is wonderful and easily sits our family of 12 (two in highchairs but when they graduate the table will still easily accommodate them.) The spiral staircase is steep and was our only concern after our summer stay but we brought a gate this visit and made it so the little ones couldn't go down. Weather turned quite chilly so we didn't spend much time outdoors but did enjoy the firepit one evening. We are already talking about planning a week at the lake this summer. Joel is quick to respond and easy to work with.

Perfect lake house for our very active grandsons! The dock had lots of space to hang out and the house was equipped with everything we needed. We cooked all our meals and the kitchen was very well equipped! Very clean and nicely decorated! Would definitely recommend! Lots of parking available!

There is a great lake view from the screened in porch and the lower patio. We also loved sitting on the dock and relaxing in the furniture there. We brought a boat and the access to the lake was perfect. The house is spacious. We had 13 there and had plenty of room. We would definitely recommend this destination.

Had a great time at the lake house…Property was clean nice and as advertised….Dock is well lit and in great condition..We caught plenty of fish and made many memories at this stay…would recommend to anyone who wants to get away for a weekend with family or friends to relax or enjoy some time on the water fishing/wake boarding or putting around on the boat…definitely 2 thumbs up!!!
