"We enjoyed hiking down the trail to Kaiteriteri each day, taking in the gorgeous views and bird calls. If it’s really hot, know that there is not AC and the windows don’t have screens on them to keep bugs out at dusk. At other times of day, we were able to open the windows and let cool air in. We enjoyed the kitchen that enabled us to cook some of our own food."

The property is set in a beautiful location, surrounded by established trees and only about 7 minutes from Mapua.The quality of the home, the decor, all of the supplies is first class. Everything you could possibly think of is provided. We felt so at home and so relaxed. We will definitely return. Colleen and Alby were such wonderful hosts and this property is a credit to their hard work. "

"It was unfortunate that we had heavy rain and the roof leaked. The whole place was damp and the carpet spelt of wet dog. We arrived to a mouse in the kitchen, and the ants moved in overnight. The managers were thoughtful and responsive, however, the place was really not fit for living. Sorry, wasn’t cheap either. All very disappointing."

"When we arrived the key was not in the lock box, but this was quickly rectified and the property manager came within 10 mins after a phone call, so this was not a huge problem… we are all only human!. It was not clear to me how much cleaning we were meant to do at the end. I was pretty sure I had paid to not have to vacuum etc but this was not clear in the email or at the bach itself. I called the property manager to find out. She said we had a late departure due to the key incident, however...
