"Don't worry about the road condition (a bit pot holed and worn) or the slightly difficult to find hotel entrance, the stay was great. The room was large and immaculately clean. Though our limited Italian caused a few laughable glitches (or fault not the staff), the service could not have been better. The food was excellent and overly abundant. "IL residence si trova nella pineta non vicino alla spiaggia se non si vuole attraversare pericolosamente i binari del treno. Ho trascorso due settimane. Niente WiFi (scusa: ho cambiato gestore! "Nice hotel to stay in the Center of the old town, clean, spacious room in a cave, friendly staff, great cave pool, nice breakfast but no parking or driving into the old town though, have to park outside of old town in an allocated carpark (€25/day) and need to pay €15 /way for transfer service into the hotel, overall still very good experience staying inside the magical old Matera"
