"The Hotel is very accessible to transportation. A lot of restaurants around the area. The hotel has good breakfast buffet choices. The staff are very nice and accommodating. I have a lovely stay here. Bonus part I have a ocean view!"

Reykjavik Residence Apartment Hotel

"Great location, walking distance to many restaurants and attractions. Nice apartment space, we had a suite-1bedroom with living room and bathroom. Downside was we were on the 2nd floor and had a floor above us, we heard every footstep, music and raised voice conversation throughout the apartment. Every door slam and when walking up the stairs. Reception staff were accommodating and friendly. We would stay there again, though would request a different building. "

"It was relatively clean, staff was polite but short, location was great. I was a bit disappointed that the balcony was not private and had a stair leading down to the street, that made me feel slightly unsafe and was not mentioned in the listing. The sheets and duvet cover also had old stains and hair on them, and two out of three times we talked to staff they seemed annoyed that we bothered them, even tho we were quiet and respectful. The room often had a smell like sewer that we couldn’t figure out where it was coming from. One other thing that was kind of annoying was the lack of good blackout curtains, which made a huge difference when the sun only set for about an hour. It seemed like we paid far more than what it was worth. It wasn’t terrible, but also wasn’t great."
