"WATCH OUT!!!! This property, and the people we interacted with for the reservation via Expedia, was a total scam. It starts with attractive photos on both Expedia and Hotels.com, but quickly gets sketchy with cryptic emails and texts regarding the reservation, payment and property details. Unfortunately, our trip was somewhat last minute, so we didn't have many local options for Skye, but this property / representatives were the absolute worst. STAY AWAY!!!"

"Cozy, extremely well designed and efficient, spectacular views in a quiet and private and quaint location. 10 min drive back “The Street” where the sunsets are magical looking across the water to Isle of Skye. Applecross Inn is a great place for late afternoon drinks and dinner. Marion is a great host. "We really enjoyed our stay here. The cottage suited our needs, and we appreciated the amenities in the cottage, including the laundry, kitchen and shower facilities. The setting is lovely and quiet, and we enjoyed walking and exploring the village, the stunning views, and finding sea glass by the shore. It definitely suited our budget as we were able to drive into the Isle of Skye, spend the day, and drive back to the cottage for the night, The cottage is also close to Eilean Donan castle...

"One of the best welcomes you'll get anywhere!!! Richard, Rebecca and the team, go the extra mile in hospitality and food . First name terms within minutes of meeting with everything all prepared ready! Rooms are basic but are clean, warm & with comfy beds. Entirely suitable for a few nights stay, as the friendliness outweighs any of that. Food is great, served with a smile, humour, or a story! A great place! "
