"It has a very good outlook over the golf course but the views to seaward are limited and not quite what we expected! Overall the property is showing marked signs of aging and could do with a complete internal (and partial external) renovation. Not better than just fair value for money! "

"The host was very organised and got back to us very quickly by email which is always so helpful. He was friendly, respectful and helpful and took the time to greet us on arrival and made sure we were comfortable and able to get into the studio. The property was clean and organised and very well kitted out. The bed is super comfy. We loved staying here and will be back."

"Fabulous unit clean modern BUT on the major road & soooo noisy you could not use the balcony —very disappointing Really wanted to sit outside & have a drink at end of the day & watch the sunset over the river Unit has double glazing & very quiet inside so did just that from inside BUT not quite the same Would still recommend this as a great venue with everything you need"

"Property well located but could do with a good clean and maybe a slash of paint Got a bit tired of reading all the dos and don'ts planted in different spots. Outdoor furniture on balcony could definately do with a clean; have stayed in motels that are better and cheaper and have everything supplied...linen, towels etc.......(who wants to pack linen etc along with everything else) it was a last minute booking otherwise would not have booked here."

"Nice apartment with everything we needed. Laundry area is a little grungy and entire property needs a good power wash. Now the positives: outstanding view and balcony area, great little kitchen. It’s also comforting to have own parking stall and easy rubbish removal. Beware of one inch step up into bathroom-I managed to trip! Also shower drains very slowly. Good location to town and 2 beaches a few footsteps away. Would definitely recommend."

"Had a wonderful stay in Batehaven with family. Great little apartment with a well equipped kitchen, very comfortable, clean and in a great location. Easy communication and check in."

"The property has outstanding views and well located, however the decor and furniture are dated. Not that we used the second bedroom, which is advertised as a twin bed, but is really a single as the door cannot be fully opened before striking a bed. The ensuite is also very small."

"Good location, comfortable apartment ,all appliances good working order the only downside is the cleaning , it was no 100 % ,An air-conditioning was installed no long ago and the brick dust all over the wall and around the tv set , and seats the carpet and under bed all dusty"

"Spacious comfortable apartment with lovely balcony but not the cleanest and rather cluttered - more like someone’s home than holiday rental. With a little effort (renew cracked wash basin, clean cooking utensils) it could be wonderful. The entrance (via a filthy stairway of some 37 steps - not mentioned in details and no lift) was most unwelcoming. However Madecomfy, the booking agents, were excellent to deal with even supplying 2 fans within an hour of request on arrival day."

"Second time staying. This time the kitchen and balcony looked like they could use a good clean, however the bed was comfy and the view was amazing. Staff as always, were friendly and our dog loved the little toy present they gave her."
