"Really enjoyed our stay here. The weather happened to be very warm while we were there. The pool full of cold mountain water together with the heat turned into a spa like experience. Would definitely go back. "

"La vivienda, jardin y piscina se corresponden exactamente con las fotos que se publican, la ropa de cama perfectamente limpia y adecuada. la unica pega, es que en alguno de los dormiorios se echa en falta un armario o en su defecto sitio para poder colgar la ropa. El entorno muy agradable, un lugar especial donde pasar unos dias con amigos o familiares."

"Fernado & Amelia were very welcoming and had generously left a welcome gift pack. We were given lots of information about services & things to do in the area. The outdoor living space with bbq & outdoor sink and plenty of charcoal together with the pool greatly enhanced our stay in early July. The only downside was there was no airconditioning (our error not noticing when booking) as in the 1st week temperatures were up to 40 degrees but fans were provided. A lovely peaceful setting."

However, the best feature of this property is the outside living space. Pictures really do not do it justice. We spent most of our time in this area, cooking, eating and spending time together as a family. The pool area was lovely and very welcome in the Portugal sun. "The house is lovely. We particularly loved the outside kitchen, dining and lounge area and we used this a great deal. The pool was also great. The house is in a good location in a small hamlet but there are no facilities there so you do need to drive everywhere. It is about 20min drive to Coimbra which is a very pretty old city and definitely worth a visit. The Atlantic coast is about 45min drive where there are beautiful long sandy beaches. The only downside for us was the proximity to the A13...
