The hotel was in a great location; off the main road and close to old town and the train station. We will choose this location again on our next Lucerne trip. "

There is something incredibly comfortable in the room which makes it one of the best stays we've ever had in Europe as a whole. Pros: - historic but very well renovated - great AC - perfect location - lake views are incredible - staff is great - daily chocolate treats were a unique surprise - incredible bathroom (private toilet, double sink, great water flow, waterfall shower, great quality shampoo/conditioner/soap) - international outlet adapter, USB c outlets by the bed - perfect blackout shades - perfectly quiet rooms, especially with the windows closed - awesome historical artifacts in the room Cons: - it was a shame that our reservation didn't include breakfast. Maybe it was related to Expedia itself though since it seems strange that such an expensive hotel wouldn't have that by default. "
