"Wonderful older boutique hotel at the heart of Condon. Easy drive to/from Cottonwood Canyon State Park (30 minutes away). One of the only (if not the only) place to stay north of John Day Fossil Bed National Park (90 minutes away). Well renovated rooms, dining room and public areas respecting the historical character of the property. Clean and comfortable rooms and bathrooms. Friendly and attentive staff. Make sure to arrive early in the evening as dining options are (very) limited in Condon. "

"My husband and I were just passing through on our way home from our road trip vacation. This place is a little gem. It is a nice view of the damn. The beds were really comfortable. We got the tail end of breakfast, but what was left over was yummy. It was clean and the room was a good size. In our room there was only a shower no bathtub, but we did not need a bathtub so the shower was more than adequate. We had our two dogs and they could have a better designed dog area but it is sufficient. If you like to use DoorDash there are good options and they were quick. "

"Our family of 4 had a great stay at the duplex. It was very clean, very quiet, and everything worked well. The beds were very comfortable and we all slept well. Zero complaints! The owner was quick to respond on the day of check-in when I texted with a question. I would definitely recommend this rental to others if they are in the area. "
